This Year’s Speaker Template 2

How to set this up:

1. Have your speaker provide a pdf or a MS word doc with their text and also provide their profile picture.
2. Open Canva and create a “custom size” of 400px x 500px
3. upload the image and place it on the blank canvas.
4. right-mouse click and choose “set as background”
5. Name the image appropriately and download it as a .JPG (not as png, as these are larger file sizes).
6. Log into WordPress, go to the dashboard > posts > create new post.
7. Choose “Default Builder”
8. Copy and paste the text from the speakers provided document into the space provided (paste over this area if using this template).
9. On the top right, choose “featured image” and upload the image you’ve sized in Canva.
10. On the right-side menu, choose the appropriate category (ex: “this year’s speakers”)
11. Hit Save and you’re done!

***DON’T FORGET TO CHANGE THE CATEGORY TO “PREVIOUS YEARS” ONCE NEXT YEAR ROLLS AROUND or else “this year’s” speakers/sponsos will display both previous year’s and this year’s.
